Website Structure

These free CSS based website templates have been constructed by the following guidelines that are used to upload your site to Free template Open Source directories. This means that these site are fully W3C complient.

All Designs validate at http://validator.w3.org/.
All Designs have XHTML validation types (ex. XHTML 1.0 Transitional).
Designs do not use any other code besides XHTML/CSS.
There is no Javascript, Java, DHTML, etc...

Designs are in Design_Name.zip format.
When unzipped, designs must fall into the following directory structure:
Design_Name/index.html
Design_Name/this.html
And so on...

The design zip file and the files it contains must not contain any other characters besides [a-z], [0-9] and the underscore [_].
If links in the design are not functional, they link back to index.html.
There are no buttons (this includes w3 buttons).

Our designs have copyrights.
If you are using images:
All combined size of all images are less than 50KB.
No text is allowed in images (so that it can be used without an image editor).
Images are royalty free.
